If you are able to make it to Orlando this weekend you should definitely check out the BarCamp that is going on at Wall Street Plaza. The 1st day is Dev Day where you can learn and talk about HTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, Django, all that fun stuff. Day 2 will be the day where all the bloggers, podcasters and other assorted new media content producers get together and talk shop.
After Day 1 is over, don’t go home just yet. IZEA is hosting an Afterparty. The party is called GeekOut ‘08. There’s going to be an Open Bar, food, video games, Live DJ and even a Rockband competition. If you bring your resume you can also be entered in a drawing to win an AppleTV.
I will also be interviewing people live over streaming internet video, so let me know if you want to be interviewed and get your 5 minutes of fame.
